I wanted some beautifully designed business cards. Photographers are visual design professionals, right? So we should have beautifully designed websites and business cards and marketing materials. I was so excited this week when my new business and note cards came in the mail! They were designed by Eric Kass of Funnel.tv. He also designed my logo.
I am very particular about the way things look, and Eric is so great to work with. We literally spent hours on the phone talking about everything from photography and business cards to books and movies and astrology. I say “on the phone” because he is out in Indiana and I’m here in Boston. But it works. He gets where I’m coming from and I feel like over the past year he has really helped me develop my brand identity.
The cards are wonderful to touch, which was also important to me. The stock is very nice and they have an engraved logo which is slightly raised. The wrinkled image on the cards is actually the back of an old family photo that Eric scanned. The note cards fold kind of funky — my logo and the top half of the photo is upside-down when the card is folded. I like it that way.
